While I have been enjoying teaching AppFurnace to a class of Digital Media Students at the University of the West of England in other parts of the world AppFurnace expert users have been teaching impromptu AppFurnace classes to artists and students.

Calvium are delighted to announce a new collaboration with theatre makers Kneehigh to create Kneehigh Rambles, a mobile application offering free interactive walks for lovers of Cornish stories. Kneehigh are a Cornwall-based theatre company with a reputation for creating challenging, accessible and anarchic theatre for a diverse local and national audience.

To celebrate the Watershed’s 30th Birthday we have created a Visitor Book app. As Bristolians we have appreciated the support, vision and all round goodness of Watershed and we hope that everyone with a similar warm and fuzzy feeling about the place will add their own personal memories in the app. It’s easy to do – you just take a photo of yourself, say when your relationship with Watershed began and write your memory. You can also browse all of the other comments.

The first Bristol Young Student competition drew to a glittering close at the Mall at Cribbs Causeway on Monday evening. It was a testament to action above words as all of the organisers and mentors volunteered their time and a wide number of Bristol based businesses also volunteered prizes and use of their facilities.
